The Rooms

We undertook a conversion of a old night club into a café & restaurant. This project is a testament to the adaptive re-use of historic spaces, marrying the building's original charm with the dynamic needs of a contemporary café and restaurant. Embracing the legacy of the building, our design philosophy was grounded in retaining and celebrating the exposed brickwork that whispers tales of the past. In contrast, the design introduces highly contemporary materials that speak in a muted palette, seamlessly integrating with the building's existing narrative.

The interior design of the space presented is a dialogue of rustic charm and contemporary refinement. The raw texture of exposed brick walls is preserved, offering a nod to the building's historical narrative. These walls are thoughtfully juxtaposed with modern design elements, creating a dialogue between past and present. Sleek, off-white floor tiling provides a fresh canvas that amplifies the natural light pouring in from the large windows, enhancing the airiness of the room.
